The Arcane Companion is a PDF expansion to CLASH of Spears. It is not a stand-alone game and it requires CLASH of Spears.
This living rulebook expansion adds fantasy rules for your CLASH games.
It includes rules to add magic to your games, and it includes rules for adding undead troops, which of course require a totally different system for CLASH since the fatigue mechanics that drives living troops does not really affect those who are already dead.
You can use this rules to add your own fantastic troops to your historical lists, since the supplement provides the traits and points to create those fatnastic troops.
The supplement also adds an initial set of fantasy lists that include armies such as the Draugr, Norse Raiders, The Orcs of the White Hand, The Ghosts of Cannae, and more.
You also get access to the initial spell deck that includes 7 battle magic spells, and 2 necromantic spells.
Over time this living rulebook will be updated as we add more lists, rules, spells and extras to make it more comprehensive and you'll get those updates directly by downloading the updated version of the Arcane Companion.
